BETA - Bulletin of Experimental Treatment for AIDS


BETA, the Bulletin of Experimental Treatments for AIDS, covers new developments in HIV/AIDS prevention, treatment, and research. BETA includes in-depth articles on HIV prevention technologies and approaches, as well as HIV treatment and strategies for living well with HIV. It is published twice yearly by the San Francisco AIDS Foundation.

Contributing writers to BETA include well-known HIV/AIDS researchers, clinicians, and community advocates. Each issue of BETA includes News Briefs, Drug Watch, feature articles on a range of topics, alternating Aging & HIV and Women & HIV columns, and a list of open clinical trials.
