Clinical Assistant Training & Certification
The Clinical Assistants internship program is open to adults 18 and older, with a high school diploma or equivalent, interested in HIV prevention, treatment, and community-based advocacy.
This internship offers a unique opportunity for individuals to contribute to health equity efforts, engage directly with impacted communities, and develop real-world skills in sexual and public health service delivery. Interns will be part of a transformative and supportive learning environment that empowers them to make a meaningful impact in community health.
Prior experience with harm reduction, substance use counseling, or working with the LGBTQI community desired (but not required). We welcome people of all gender identities and cultural backgrounds to apply. Candidates of color, Spanish-speaking bilingual and bicultural candidates, HIV-positive candidates, and candidates successfully using harm reduction or 12-step principles in their own lives are especially encouraged to apply when positions are available.
