SAN FRANCISCO, May 22, 2026–More than 700 cyclists and volunteer “crew” are set to embark on “Cycle to Zero”–the three-day cycling event and fundraiser for San Francisco AIDS Foundation (SFAF), May 29-31, 2026 in Northern California. The event has thus far raised more than $1.6 million in support of the no-cost programs and services of San Francisco AIDS Foundation.

Cycle to Zero participants join the ride as a way to support the many HIV, LGBTQ+, harm reduction, substance use support, sexual health, and social support programs and services SFAF provides to the community at no cost. Yearly, SFAF provides care to 3,000 PrEP clients, more than 12,000 HIV tests, sexual health care to nearly 7,000 people, health care to nearly 900 transgender clients, substance use counseling to more than 500 people, and social support and case management care to hundreds of clients.

Media are welcome to attend Cycle to Zero locations along the ride with opportunities for interviews with event participants and SFAF CEO Dr. Tyler TerMeer.
