“Secrets in the Wind” The Art of Geraldo Felicio – Art Openings at Strut
For the month of December we are exhibiting the art of Geraldo Felicio! Born in Minas Gerais and currently living in São Paulo, Geraldo is an illustrator and tatoo artist with a sensitive, attentive eye to the nuances and beauty of bodies.
AIDS/LifeCycle World AIDS Day Ride
Join us as we ride in observance of World AIDS Day. We’ll start our ride meeting at the National AIDS Memorial Grove at the corner of Nancy Pelosi Drive and Bowling Green Drive in Golden Gate Park. After our pre-ride activities we’ll head through the Presidio and over to the Legion of Honor, then along Ocean Beach towards our rest stop. After the rest stop you can choose to either do the Lake Merced loop for more miles, or head on back to the National AIDS Memorial Grove.

LGBT Asylum in the U.S. – Information Session
Get information about how to apply for asylum in the U.S. if you are in danger of persecution in your home country. The LGBT Asylum Project is the only San Francisco nonprofit organization exclusively dedicated to providing accessible legal representation for LGBT asylum seekers who are fleeing persecution due to their sexual orientation, gender identity and/or HIV status.

The Audacity of Hope Webinar (Online) – HOPE Collaboratory
Join the HOPE collaboratory, a research and community engagement collaboration working towards an HIV cure, for a virtual discussion exploring the resilience of people living with HIV. Organized by SFAF staff involved as HOPE Community Advisory Board coordinators, the event will honor the history of HIV and also offer a hopeful future as panelists explore overcoming fear and worry, embracing joy, and advice for people newly diagnosed with HIV.
