Our Main Office offers a variety of programs and services including social support groups, substance use counseling, HIV and STI testing, HIV case management and more. Stop in for our free programs and services, to use the phones or computers in our fourth floor lobby and to pick up free safer sex supplies.

Our office is on the south side of Market Street between 6th Street and 7th Street. We are one or two blocks from Powell Street Station or Civic Center Station (MUNI lines K/T, J, L, M, N and BART). Buses and surface-level trains that that stop nearby are F, 5-Fulton, 6-Haight-Parnassus, 7-Haight-Noriega, 9-San Bruno, 19-Polk, and 21-Hayes.
There are stairs, escalators and an elevator available that will bring you from the underground train stations to Market Street level.
Following guidance for a mandatory “stay home” order issued by county public health officials across the Bay Area on 3/16/20, our site at 1035 Market Street has been closed.
First, please speak with the building security officer and let them know you are here to visit San Francisco AIDS Foundation, “SFAF,” or “the fourth floor.” You do not need to disclose why you are visiting our office.
Next, check in at our services podium on the right side of the lobby on the first floor, where our first floor attendant will help you. Please provide the attendant with a name. They will assist you with receiving a badge for the day.
Then, proceed to the fourth floor using the elevator. When you arrive at the fourth floor, check in with one of our services navigators.
All visitors must check in on the fourth floor.
Please note that elevators are not operational outside of office hours.
