Aging Services

Aging Services at SFAF is committed to supporting our communities as we age, promoting health, well-being, and resilience. We recognize the importance of community engagement and social support in reducing isolation and fostering connection.

Whether HIV-negative or living with HIV, we have survived the HIV and AIDS pandemic, but our community has been fragmented and scattered, we have experienced stigma, and we have endured trauma. That’s why our HIV and aging services and support are here–to create community, provide support, and connect people to care.

Advocacy and Activism

Aging Services partners with SFAF’s HIV Advocacy Network, a grassroots group of activists in the Bay Area fighting to end the HIV and AIDS epidemic and improve the lives of communities impacted by HIV. Health justice, harm reduction, housing justice and HIV and aging are the main issues that we advocate for at the city, state and local levels.
