Overdose prevention & response

Opioid overdoses are the leading cause of accidental death in the U.S. Our goal is to provide the latest information and training, in combination with naloxone (Narcan) and other resources to prevent deaths due to overdose.

We provide both nasal and intramuscular (IM) naloxone (Narcan) at the 6th Street Center, all of our mobile health services sites, and our center in the Castro, Strut. Stop by the 6th Street Center or one of our mobile health service sites for overdose recognition and response training, including education on the use of both intramuscular and intranasal naloxone.
