Tomas Llorence, Director, Contingency Management, SFAF

Tomas Llorence (he/him) is the Director of Contingency Management with The Stonewall Project, where he oversees all of the Positive Reinforcement Opportunity Project (PROP) contingency management services at SFAF. Tomas joined SFAF’s contingency management team in 2022, motivated by the positive impact he had seen of PROP on people he knew in the community who had gone through the program. His connections to the recovery community, and his desire to work closely with communities that he loves, drives his commitment to PROP and The Stonewall Project.

Tomas made the decision to move to community-based work after more than a decade in hotel management, IT, and tech support. Prior to joining SFAF, Tomas led a workforce development training program for partner organization PRC, where he helped prepare community members with technical and computer skills needed for the job market. He also helped develop the peer training program Lift Up, which prepared people to use their lived experience to work in direct service organizations.

Outside of work, Tomas spends time with his husband, two cats, two dogs, and extended family. He loves to garden with his husband, and maintains serene outdoor spaces at his home.
