Brian Ragas

Director, Black Health

Brian Ragas (he/him) is the Director of Black Health, leading the development and implementation of innovative programming including Black Brothers Esteem (BBE), Healing & Uniting Every Sista (HUES), and TransLife. He oversees staffing and training initiatives, establishes operational protocols, and directs marketing efforts in addition to managing relationships with subcontracting agencies and supervising data reporting systems to ensure programmatic excellence.

Brian is an accomplished administrator with over a decade of experience advancing health and human rights within civil society organizations. With a strong background in management and strategic communication, he has a proven track record of enhancing organizational efficiency and fostering meaningful relationships with major donors, clients, and stakeholders.

Brian holds a degree in Ethnic Studies from San Francisco State University and has completed advanced studies in HIV/AIDS Management at Stellenbosch University. He is currently pursuing studies in Global Health Policy at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine.
