Christopher has served on the board of directors since [YYYY and as vice chair since YYYY].
“I moved to San Francisco in 2000 and there was a noticeable generation missing in the city due to the severe loss of people from AIDS. Our community was ravaged by HIV/AIDS and there was a lingering anxiety around intimacy and loss that took years to overcome. Many friends of mine have zero converted in the 25 years I've lived here and …I can't count how many have used the services of SFAF to get the care needed. My involvement started with AIDS/LifeCycle in 2004 and I participated in the event 18 times. 10 times as a rider, 7 as a roadie and 1 as a volunteer staff member. I also spent 7 years on the Tribute planning committee before joining the board. This work gives me incredible purpose in life and I hope to elevate my impact as I grow in my role as a board member.”
