Adventures in Abstinence

Wondering what abstinence has to do with harm reduction? Abstinence can be defined in many ways, and for any time period. We invite people with all substance use goals to identify and pursue adventures which support a better quality of life and more human connection.

Jeremy Prillwitz, MA, LAADC has been a counselor at the Stonewall Project since 2012. He is a frequent presenter on harm reduction at conferences and trainings. He is currently writing a book challenging the abstinence-only treatment monopoly in the U.S., and highlighting the positive and pro-social aspects of drugs.
