Event Guide

Our events are a great way to create connections, learn something new, and have a great time with new or old friends. In addition to arts and cultural events, we host info sessions and discussions about sex and sexual health, and substance use and harm reduction. Support groups are also on the menu — there’s something for just about everyone. Browse the events below and find what might be right for you.

When you’re ready for more, find all of our events on our calendar.

Many events are walk-in only, while some may require an RSVP.

How to Use Our Calendar

You can find all of our events at all of our locations on our calendar tool. You can use the month view to see what is going on, or a list view to see more detail. You can also use the day views to find out what’s happening on a specific day.

See Today

We’ve got a lot going on, so you probably want to use the filter settings to narrow your choices. You can filter by time of day, event location, program, service, community, or event category.

If you’re looking for arts and culture events, for example, select “Arts & Culture” in the Event Category filter.

If you’re only interested in events in the evening, you can see just those events too.

Harm Reduction Center Drop-In Group

People who inject or use substances are invited to our harm reduction drop-in group at the Harm Reduction Center. We have snacks, coffee and conversation about reducing the harms that drugs can cause. No judgement, only harm reduction information and caring support for people who use drugs. While you’re there, pick up safer injection and smoking supplies, disposal equipment, overdose prevention and reversal supplies and more.

Spend the Weekend with PLUS

PLUS, or Positive Living for Us, combines support and education into one inspiring weekend for anyone who is newly dealing with HIV — whether newly diagnosed or addressing HIV in a new way — and their allies. Led by people living with HIV for people living with HIV, we talk about living well, HIV disclosure, what it means to be “undetectable,” during this two-day weekend seminar.

Art at Strut

We proudly feature artists who are passionate about what we do in a rotating exhibition at our clinic in the Castro. For more than 15 years, we’ve exhibited a different artist every month. On the first Friday night of every month, the community is invited to a free art exhibition at Strut.
