World AIDS Day March & Candlelight Vigil
December 1 4:00 pm - 5:00 pm
Join us this year for World AIDS Day on the steps of San Francisco city hall to remember those we’ve lost to the HIV/AIDS crisis and to issue a call to action for justice for our communities.
We will have a series of speakers to lift up the voices of people living with HIV and to visibilize the challenges our communities still face 40 years after the onset of the HIV/AIDS epidemic. Please bring a photo of loved ones you’d like to remember. We will provide candles for the candlelight vigil.
Following our speakers at City Hall, we will march together from City Hall to St. John’s the Evangelist Episcopal Church for the AIDS Memorial Quilt display, dinner and Revival Dance.
