Smart Drinking – Online

An event every week that begins at 6:00 pm on Tuesday, repeating until June 9, 2020
Interested in addressing your relationship to alcohol? Find your way to safer drinking, managed drinking or quitting with support from the weekly Castro Smart Drinking drop-in group. There’s no requirement to change how you drink and all goals are supported. Facilitators: Rich Lugo & Aaron Martin.
Accessing the Zoom Meeting:
In order to maintain Stonewall counseling services during the COVID-19 “shelter-in-place”order, Stonewall will be offering ongoing groups and “walk-in”services remotely via Zoom or phone.
There is an email distribution list for the schedule with Zoom ID numbers – please leave an email address with us at firstname.lastname@example.org, or call our mainline 415-487-3100, or with your counselor and we can add you to that list to be distributed as the schedule is updated throughout the COVID-19 “shelter-in-place” order.

- Ifyou have a prior registration with Zoom, please ensure you are comfortable with your current namebeing shared with other participants–this can be adjusted in your Zoom profile. You can also adjust your name afteryou enter the group.

The Stonewall Project is a family of programs dedicated to providing counseling, treatment, information and support to gay, bi and trans men, and other men who have sex with men, who are having issues with drugs or alcohol. As a program rooted in harm reduction, all substance use goals ranging from safer use, to managed use, to reduced use, to partial abstinence, to complete abstinence are supported and welcome.
Accessibility: There are no stairs to enter the lobby level at Strut from the street level. The building has three floors, and there is a stairwell with handrails and a wheelchair accessible elevator. To get to the 3rd floor there are 48 steps from the lobby.
