Shut Up and DRAW!
March 9 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm
Join us for another Shut Up and DRAW!
A quiet place to Draw, be creative, doodle, sketch, and be among your fellow queers.
The Castro can be such a noisy chaotic place. There’s loud music in the bars, loud music in the coffee shops, loud music in the stores. It’s hard to find a quiet space to just think and let your mind be creative. Shut Up and DRAW provides a quiet space to come and let your creative mind run wild, quietly.
The event is free. B.Y.O.S.P. (Bring Your Own Sketch Pad.) feel free to bring your own sketch pads, markers, color pencils or pens.
Don’t draw?, No Problem we will also have some sexy and non sexy coloring books for folks to sit, color, and meditate.
All art supplies are welcome as long as they are not liquid inks/paints/watercolors that can get everywhere, damage our furniture, or stain our table sand or space, so please don’t show up with any materials that can make a mess. And if you do bring paint stuff, just please be very careful.
Some scratch paper, pens and color pencils will be provided for folks that don’t have their own.
Please Note: This will be a silent event.
If you have any questions about the event please feel free to contact Baruch our community events manager at firstname.lastname@example.org
