QTPOC at Strut hosts a Shut Up and DRAW!
January 9 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm
Are you a queer or trans person of color who wants a quiet space to draw? In the Castro? Life can be too loud? Coffee shops, restaurants, stores, all play super loud music, and don’t get us started on the bars. Shut Up and DRAW provides you with two to three hours of quiet space to draw, relax and or work on a coloring book! Bring your sketch books, pens and markers, or that zine you’ve been trying to finish and make art among your fellow POC and T QUEERS!
QTPOC at Strut is every Thursday on our 3rd Floor!
Sexual Health Services and PrEP Enrollments from 5pm-6:30pm.
Shut Up and DRAW sessions are from 6 PM to 8 PM (ish)
The event is free. B.Y.O.S.P. (Bring Your Own Sketch Pad.) feel free to bring your own sketch pads, markers, color pencils or pens.
Don’t draw?, No Problem we will also have some sexy and non sexy coloring books for folks to sit, color, and meditate.
All art supplies are welcome as long as they are not liquid
inks/paints/watercolors that can get everywhere, damage our furniture, or stain our table sand or space, so please don’t show up with any materials that can make a mess.
Some scratch paper, pens and color pencils, random art supplies will be provided for folks that don’t have their own.
Please Note: This will be a silent event.
