National Black HIV/AIDS Awareness Day

February 7

Today is National Black HIV/AIDS Awareness Day, a chance to advocate for HIV services by and for Black communities. Race should not be a barrier to health and wellness, yet histories of discrimination and racism have resulted in more Black San Franciscans living with HIV and living without treatment. Through programs like QTPOC at Strut, Black Brothers Esteem, the DREAAM Project, and Black Health Center of Excellence, and strategic partnerships with trusted community organizations, we are working to ensure that Black community members have access to everything they need to manage their health and well-being.

Show your support for health justice with a gift of $25 or any amount.
