Head Heart + Hope Mental Health Event with Nia Hamilton – Ibu!
November 5 7:30 pm - 9:30 pm
Part Three: Still Here, Still Healing
Join us in this final part of a three-part virtual event series focused on Queer and Trans BIPOC Mental Health with mental health professional Nia Hamilton-Ibu! Part of QTPOC at Strut!
Our final or third event is titled “Still Here, Still Healing” No matter the outcome of election night Nov 3, 2020, QTPOC people will continue to face various atrocities that plague our lives/communities. Like the mountains, the sea, and the land, although we may be oppressed and know rough times are coming, we are also still here and still healing. Nia Ibu, LCSW will teach some stress-reducing skills to support us on these journeys. During the Q&A section, we will share cultural healing tools with each other to help us weather the storms.
Mark your calendars! And don’t forget to reserve your spot via EventBrite so you can get emailed a link to join us the day of the event, here is the LINK
