“This session will honor the works of black queer women and non-binary writers by moving through a series of creative exercises and guided writing prompts. Some of the poets we’ll center include Audre Lorde and Pat Parker. Attendees will be invited to situate themselves through poetry, deeply in the context of a geographical place and this potent historical moment. This session welcomes writers at all levels of comfort and experience.”
