AIDS Quilt

September 22   12:00 pm - 1:30 pm

 Recurring Event (See all)

An event every week that begins at 12:00 pm on Wednesday, repeating until September 30, 2021

HEALING, HOPE, REMEMBRANCE, AND HISTORY ABOUT THE AIDS EPIDEMIC IN AMERICA
We create this quilt as a way of sharing the story of the struggle against HIV/AIDS, we remember, in perpetuity, the lives lost, we offer healing and hope to survivors, and we inspire new generations of activists in the fight against stigma, denial, and hate, for a just future.

Join us as we sew together the new BBE AIDS Quilt to honor those in community living with HIV whom have passed away in years since we’ve constructed the last BBE AIDS Quilt.

ALL are welcome, All quilting materials are provided in group.
