Rooted in Legacy\, Rising in Power celebrates the revolutionary spirit of our ancestors while amplifying today’s changemakers who carry the torch forward. This annual gathering unites the Bay Area’s Black LGBTQIA+ community to recognize that our power flows through us from those who fought before and will surge through those who come after. \nThroughout the evening\, we celebrate current luminaries\, the activists\, organizers\, artists\, and visionaries standing on the shoulders of giants while blazing new trails.
