HIV Policy Watch: February 2009
There are strong linkages between the local San Francisco budget situation, the state’s fiscal crisis, the national economic recession, and the efforts of policymakers and advocates at all levels to address these difficult issues. The San Francisco AIDS Foundation has been and will remain very active on the local, state, and federal fronts, advocating for public resources for programs that decrease HIV infections and in support of evidence-based public policy that prioritizes the elimination of HIV and AIDS.
