AIDSWatch 2008
Sponsored by the National Association of People with AIDS (NAPWA), AIDSWatch is the national AIDS community’s annual opportunity to bring consumers of federal HIV/AIDS services to Congress to advocate for increased federal funding for HIV research, care, treatment, housing, and prevention. The San Francisco AIDS Foundation will once again support Bay Area consumers and advocates to participate in the annual AIDSWatch activity in Washington, DC, to be held this year on April 27. Hundreds of diverse consumers and advocates will educate congressional representatives and their staffs about HIV in their districts and the unmet HIV/AIDS services needs across the country.
