Holiday Party 2007

Girls at the Women & Family Holiday PartyAlthough many of the San Francisco AIDS Foundation's activities are geared towards people living with HIV and AIDS, we all recognize the impact of HIV infection on partners, children and other family members. That's why, for the 21st consecutive year, the Foundation will host a December holiday party for 600 people – including lots of kids – to share a holiday embrace with other people who are HIV+ and their own support networks.

This year, our Women and Family Holiday Party will take place on December 13th. The event kicks off with a dinner served by staff and volunteers, including members of the Foundation's Black Brothers Esteem and El Grupo programs. Invited guests enjoy entertainment provided by local artists who donate their time and talents, as well as a visit from a jolly red-suited gentleman who presents guests, young and old alike, with a holiday gift.

The Women and Family Holiday party is a volunteer-driven event. The Foundation welcomes individuals, companies and organizations to donate gifts, including new clothing, toys, toiletries or other practical items. We also welcome volunteers to help wrap gifts, set up the banquet hall, and join us for one of San Francisco's most warm-spirited holiday affairs.

If you or your company can contribute gifts or other kinds of support to the party, please contact Emily Mariko-Sanders at emariko@sfaf.org or call 415-487-8081. To volunteer at this event, please visit www.sfaf.org/volunteer.
