AIDS Walk 2004 Will Shake Up San Francisco
Support AIDS Services; Register Today!
With ABC 7, the Gap and Williams Sonoma as Grand Sponsors this
year, AIDS Walk San Francisco, scheduled for July 18th, is going to be more
than just a great day to walk through Golden Gate Park!
This event is for anyone who wants to support their community in the fight against
AIDS.
Our new AIDS Walk campaign, "Change the Course of the Epidemic,"
challenges you to get involved in the fight against AIDS. One fantastic way to
do that is to register to walk with us on Sunday, July 18th. Through our user-friendly
website at www.aidswalk.net, you can register,
make donations, check your fundraising totals and read stories from some of our
long-time walkers who are living with AIDS.
This year's walk includes pre- and post-walk activities for
everyone. Panels from the AIDS Memorial Quilt will be displayed at Sharon
Meadow, free carousel rides and a jumpy house will be available for children,
and boxed lunches will be on sale if the snacks along the route don't fill you
up! The morning will include an exhilarating opening ceremony complete with
television personalities and movie stars.
So please gather your friends and family, raise as much money as
you can and join us on Sunday, July 18th in Golden Gate Park
for the 18th annual AIDS Walk San Francisco! For
more information call (415) 615-9255 or log on to www.aidswalk.net. This event benefits SFAF and dozens of other AIDS service
organizations throughout the Bay Area.
