This forum focussed on policies to promote and maximize HIV prevention in prisons and jails. It brought together researchers, policymakers, formerly incarcerated individuals and the general public to discuss what's needed to end the close connection between incarceration and the spread of HIV. The forum took place on Oct. 11, 2007 at Delancey Street in San Francisco.
