WHAT IS THE REGISTRATION FEE FOR THE SANTA SKIVVIES RUN?
The registration fee for runners is $35 or $85 which includes a limited edition t-shirt (early-bird discounts of $10 off the fees through November 1). All registered participants will receive a Santa hat as a gift!
WHAT DO I WEAR FOR THE SANTA SKIVVIES RUN?
Not much. We encourage you to wear some red skivvies, speedos, panties, bra or other undergear. That Santa hat that you get for registering doesn't hurt either.
WILL THERE BE A GEAR CHECK-IN AT THE START?
Yes. If you are uncomfortable arriving or leaving the event just shy of naked, you can drop off clothes or jackets at our gear holding area.
WHAT IS THE ROUTE OF THE SANTA SKIVVIES RUN?
The route is a festive romp through the Castro district of San Francisco with fun stops along the way.
WHAT TIME DOES THE SANTA SKIVVIES RUN START?
Announcements will begin at Noon and the run will start at 1pm
HOW FAR IS THE SANTA SKIVVIES RUN?
That is the big question. The run will be led all through the Castro district and may take some unplanned twist and turns. You should plan on running just around one mile.
WHEN DO I CHECK-IN PRIOR TO THE EVENT?
You can check-in with the Santa Skivvies Staff anytime between 10am and 12:00 pm just before the start of the run.
WHO IS PRODUCING THE SANTA SKIVVIES RUN AND WHERE DOES THE MONEY GO?
The event is produced by San Francisco AIDS Foundation. The money raised by the event will help San Francisco AIDS Foundation prevent new HIV infections and educate our community about how to improve health.
DO I HAVE TO FUNDRAISE TO PARTICIPATE IN THE SANTA SKIVVIES RUN?
Fundraising is optional but strongly encouraged. All participants have their own fundraising page created once they register that provides them with the tools they need to fundraise successfully. See the fundraising FAQ section below for additional information.
ARE THERE VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES?

CAN I BRING MY DOG TO RUN IN THE SANTA SKIVVIES RUN?
For the safety of all the runners and of your dog, we cannot allow dogs to participate in the event.

DO I HAVE TO FUNDRAISE?
Fundraising is optional for all participants in the Santa Skivvies Run, but it's strongly encouraged. A personal fundraising page is automatically created for each member upon registration. Of course, we encourage all runners to create a fundraising goal and you will earn fundraising incentives along the way!
WHAT WILL THE FUNDS RAISED BE USED FOR?

HOW WILL I RAISE FUNDS IN ORDER TO REACH MY GOAL?
Your Participant Center will have a number of tools for you to use in your fundraising efforts. You'll have access to email templates that you can customize with your personal message and send to potential donors. You will also be able to create a personalized participant homepage that will allow you to track your donations online.
ARE THERE FUNDRAISING INCENTIVES ?
Yes! Runners who decide to fundraise will earn some amazing incentives. Please check back later for updates on other incentives.

HOW DO I BUILD A HOMEPAGE TO HELP ME FUNDRAISE?
Go to your Participant Center and follow the easy instructions. You can upload a picture, send emails and create a personal message. Your friends and family can also donate to your account through your homepage.
HOW DO I CHANGE MY PERSONAL FUNDRAISING GOAL?
Once you login to the Participant Center, go to the "modify your personal fundraising goal" button. Enter your new goal and submit the change by selecting the "update fundraising goal" button.
