Client Services
San Francisco AIDS Foundation welcomes thousands of people through our doors every year. We provide direct services for HIV prevention, testing and care in communities where need is greatest, including gay and bi-sexual men, African Americans and Latinos.
For our Community
- Black Brothers Esteem - Support groups, workshops and leadership retreats to build your esteem as a gay or same-gender loving African American man
- El Grupo de Apoyo Latino - Get support from other Latinos in weekly meetings and activities that create a safe forum for managing HIV and reducing isolation and stigma in the Latino community
- Alcohol & Other Drug Users - Understand the connection between alcohol and other drug use, sexual health and well-being with education, peer support, and social activities for gay, bi, trans-men who have sex with men.
Housing & Benefits
- Housing Support - Contact a counselor to see if you qualify for rental assistance funded through the San Francisco Department of Public Health
- Benefits Counseling - Get help navigating the complex maze of benefits eligibility, including the AIDS Drug Assistance Program (ADAP), General Assistance, Food Stamps, Medi-Cal, CARE/HIPP, Medicare, and Social Security.
Health Services
- Gay Men's Health - Get free, culturally-competent sexual health services in the Castro, including confidential rapid HIV testing and screening for other sexually transmitted infections
- Syringe Access - Get sterile syringes at locations throughout San Francisco from expert staff who provide free, anonymous exchange and other critical services that can prevent HIV and Hep C infections.
