AIDS Walk San Francisco - Walk with Team SFAF
You can be a special part of the SF AIDS Walk on July 20th, 2008 by
joining our very own San Francisco AIDS Foundation AIDS Walk team!
Why join Team SFAF?
Visibility. By joining "Team SFAF," you have an opportunity
not only to help raise money for SFAF but also to bring attention to
the work done by SFAF throughout the community and globally.
How do I join the team?
- Visit the Team SFAF signup page.
- Complete the form.
Toward the end of the page there is a place to create a personal URL,
and that will enable you to send this URL to people who might
donate to your walk. Setting this up will make it easy for them to
sponsor you! There is no way to do this later so make sure you take
advantage of this during your sign-up process.
The last area is where you set how much you would like to raise. Here
you have an opportunity to challenge your donors. If you set it too low
they will see that you have met your goal and they will feel that it
isn't necessary to give ... too high and you might not encourage them.
Ideally, it will motivate a donor to give more than originally intended
in order to help you reach your goal.
- When you click "Continue," you will be taken to an AIDS Walk SF page which explains:
- How to download your participant packet; when information packets will be sent; and where helpful forms are located.
- How to set up your walker homepage where your donors can go to track your progress and donate to you.
